Gorilla delivers MoonWalk London gateway.

16th May 2017

We delivered the start arch temporary structure for Walk the Walk’s 20th MoonWalk London on Clapham Common over the weekend of 13/14 May.

The inflatable arch structure was supported by 2 ballasted Cuplock platforms with handrails and staircase, acted as elevated platform for VIP’s and press. Event organiser Walk the Walk, the UK’s largest grant-making breast cancer charity, approached Gorilla to create a striking feature that could form part of a consistent brand image and be used on other events, the inflatable bra is the result.

At the time of writing, this year’s MoonWalk London event has already raised over £1m for breast cancer causes. Walk the Walk started 20 years ago, when just 13 women power walked the New York City Marathon in their bras to raise money and awareness for breast cancer. Today, Walk the Walk is a multi-million pound charity, has raised in excess of £113 million for vital breast cancer causes over the last two decades.

Our MD, Andy Gregorek commented, “The MoonWalk is an amazing event and we’re delighted to support the great work done by Walk the Walk.”
